B Corp Fashion Special

So you’re looking to be a little more thoughtful in your shopping habits? It’s something on our minds too. As March is B Corp month, we thought we’d share some of our favourite B Corp certified fashion companies that are in business with the objective of making good things come to all. Brands that you can buy from safe in the knowledge that the pieces you’re buying have a positive impact on the people that make them and the future of our planet.

What is a B Corp? It’s a certification that indicates that a company is genuinely working as a force for good in all it does - and that means every step of its way including its supply lines, its people and, ultimately, our planet. As explained on the UK B Corporation site, a certified B Corp company must: “meet high standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. B Corps are accelerating a global culture shift to redefine success in business and build a more inclusive and sustainable economy."

The process of becoming a B Corp is rigorous and companies need to achieve a score of 80-plus points to be certified. The rating is ongoing so a B Corp fashion brand certainly can’t hide behind any greenwashing antics once they’ve earned their B Corp status.

How can you help change things? Be B Corp aware. Shop with your eyes wide open. Keep looking for B Corp certification and become part of the movement. Oh and enjoy just a few of our favourite B Corp Fashion Brands below. Happy Sustainable Shopping!
