Chanel enters the minimalism market with the new No.1 de Chanel Collection

After celebrating 100 years of No.5, Chanel is now taking it back to basics with No.1 as its latest launch. The brand new N°1 de Chanel is a new line of skincare, fragrance and make-up from Chanel Beauty which utilises the restorative qualities of the red camellia flower.
The entire new collection, from the legendary fashion house, focuses on a minimal and skin first approach to beauty and is inspired by Gabrielle Chanel’s holistic style.
With a total of nine products including; multipurpose skincare, makeup and a fragrance mist, No.1 is a tightly edited new collection and formulations focus around the key new ingredient of the red camellia flower. The skincare comprises, a powder-to-foam cleanser, lotion, face mist, serum, face cream and eye cream all boasting impressive natural credentials.
With this launch noticeable efforts have been made to keep up with sustainable beauty standards, with refillable options, paper leaflets removed, some lids have made using recycled materials and more than 80 per cent of the range's packaging made from glass, marking Chanel’s steps into eco-conscious production.
Chanel No.1 de Chanel launches today on chanel.com and will be available in stores from 14th January.
