How to apply for Kirstie's Handmade Christmas

July might seem a little early to start thinking about Christmas, but - and we don’t want to alarm you here - there are only 21 weekends left until the big day. So, if you’re ready to get in the festive spirit, why not apply for the brand-new series of Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas?

This Yuletide celebration of all things crafty sees passionate amateur crafters go head-to-head to create stunning homemade decorations, gifts and bakes.

This year’s crafting competitions include gingerbread house building, tree decorating, cake decorating, stocking making, Christmas hampers, handmade toys, hand-knitted Christmas jumpers, festive paper crafting, handmade wreaths, handmade gifts, handmade decorations, handmade advent calendars, handmade table dressing, Christmas needlecraft, and handmade pet gifts.

In addition to searching for crafters for the competitions, the show is also looking to showcase makers who create fantastic festive goodies.

Whether you’re a keen crafter and fancy taking part in one of the 15 competitions, or already produce handcrafted gifts and decor, the Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas team want to hear from you as soon as possible.

Applications close Friday August 16. Applicants must be 16+ to enter, and those aged 16 or 17 will require consent from a parent or legal guardian.

Filming will take place between August and October, and the programme will be broadcast in December 2019.
