Eye Spy Christmas at IOLLA

Regular readers of Hood know that we love a bit of illustration and calligraphy and nothing gives us more joy than seeing these artwork genres being recognised in the mainstream. Which is why we’re delighted to hear that Scottish eyewear brand IOLLA (loving my new pair of Swintons btw, things actually have edges - who knew?!) has enlisted the help of local illustrator and Hood favourite, Katie Smith to design their Christmas windows and merchandise and tomorrow the stylish Scottish eyewear brand welcomes leading calligrapher, Christina Lessani from Laila Lettering to offer a complimentary personalisation service on products at their Edinburgh St James Quarter Showroom.

Taking place in-store for one day only on Saturday 4th December from 11am until 4pm, IOLLA customers can enjoy complimentary hand-drawn case customisation on any purchases on a first come first serve basis to guests on any off-the-shelf purchases including their range of stand out sunglasses, contemporary cases and modern accessories.

Kirsty Humpherson, Marketing Manager at IOLLA said: ‘Christina’s work is incredible and we love collaborating with her to pull out all the stops for our customers this Christmas. Our brand identity and showroom experience is deeply personal, and the luxurious final touch added by Laila Lettering is a great fit for customers looking for exceptional gifts this festive season.’

IOLLA has been trading since Summer 2015 and has become one of Scotland’s best loved contemporary brands. With four bricks and mortar stores, located in; St James Quarter Edinburgh, Glasgow Finnieston, Edinburgh Stockbridge and Glasgow City Centre, the collection of eyewear and accessories can also be purchased online at IOLLA.com
