INTRODUCING THE HIFU FACELIFT

Sometimes referred to as the ‘lunch-break facelift’, HIFU—High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound—is an advanced cosmetic technology which can significantly tighten and lift several areas of the face, reduce the signs of ageing, and improve the tone of the skin in just one session.

This technology can target the muscular layer within the skin—SMAS, short for superficial muscular aponeurotic system—which was previously only treated through invasive surgery. As a result, you can have your dream facelift without any of the risks and be ready to face the world immediately.

WHAT IS HIFU?

IS HIFU SAFE?

It is safe and non-invasive, which makes it incredibly popular. HIFU uses a handheld device that is passed over the surface of the skin.

This treatment is suitable for all skin types and can be carried out on different areas of the body, including the face, eye area, neck, and jawline.

HOW LONG WILL A HIFU TREATMENT TAKE?

This will depend on the results you are trying to achieve. However, we normally advise around 30 minutes per area. A full face can take between 1 hour and 30 minutes and 2 hours.

Immediately after the treatment you should notice that your skin appears tighter and that fine lines and wrinkles are reduced. There should be continued improvement over the next 3-6 months, with results lasting up to two years. We recommend one treatment every 9-12 months.

HIFU is a clinically-proven and non-invasive procedure. Your skin may appear slightly red and tender following the treatment, but this is normally very mild and subsides quickly.
