Celebrate Brasserie Prince's first birthday with a special seafood celebration menu
Celebrations are in order this weekend as Brasserie Prince, the stylish eatery located within Edinburgh’s iconic Rocco Forte Balmoral hotel, turns one. To mark their birthday, the restaurant has created a limited-edition menu featuring some of Alain Roux’s favourite dishes from the past 12 months.
Combining the best Scottish produce with plenty of French flair, the seafood celebration menu will launch on Brasserie Prince’s first birthday, Friday June 28. With dishes created and hand-picked by Alain Roux himself, the menu is full of dishes fit for Princes and Kings alike.
At the four-course dining experience, guests will be welcomed with a glass of Michel Roux Champagne and sumptuous Scottish oysters, before tucking into a choice of delicious seafood, fresh from local waters. Dishes include: Balmoral smoked salmon with raw onion rings, capers, lemon and rye soda bread; Shetland mussels with basquaise sauce and Espelette pepper; Armoricaine monkfish with Camargue wild rice and tenderstem broccoli; and grilled Scottish lobster thermidor with asparagus and green leaf salad.
Accompanied by a glass of quality French wine from Brasserie Prince’s extensive list, the meal is rounded off with a delicious cheese plate featuring Scottish Lanark Blue cheese and Brillat-Savarin cheese from France.
The special seafood celebration menu is available from now until August 9, for both lunch and dinner, and is priced at £50 per person. To book your table, please visit Brasserie Prince’s website or call 0131 557 5000.
